MDB Capital, the IP Investment Bank, announced the winners of its Bright Lights Innovation Awards, conferred upon 15 companies during the first Bright Lights Conference at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco, May 11 and 12. The Innovation Awards recognize companies identified by MDB Capital's PatentVest database as possessing high CAGR of patent applications, patent novelty, quality, and impact, and other factors.
....And "The Best of the Best," PROVECTUS Award winners had the highest combined PatentVest Tech Score, CAGR application rate and number of granted patents. Electro Scientific Industries Inc., Microvision, ParkerVision, Solta Medical and Telecommunication Systems received this award. Bright Lights attendees also selected, by ballot, five companies for a special MICO Award. These presenting companies were recognized for their potentially disruptive or market changing intellectual property. The winners were Health Discovery, Acacia Research, Uroplasty, Superconductor Technologies and Wave Systems.
